My client imports and sells a large range of fluid handling products used for the transport and treatment of water & wastewater.  The company provides products such as pumps, water treatment equipment, ozone generators and sludge collectors in addition to ultra violet and ozone disinfection technology.  The company draws clients from both the public and provate sectors in agriculture, aquaculture and resources. Currently they are seeking to employ a hands on, proactive and highly skilled Service Management professional to lead and drive the service business to future success.

The Service Manager is accountable for the entire running of the service and rental departments, manages a team of technicians & labours, administration personal and works very closely with the sales department.  The main responsibilities of this role is to ensure the further bottom line growth of the service business,  budgeting and forecasting, writing service agreements,  managing service accounts and working in partnership with key alliance partners.   You are also responsible for generating new business through the development of a calculate call plans, conduct presentations, ensure safety & QA of all systems.

• Have mechanical engineering qualifications with extensive knowledge of the pumping and water industry
• Proven experience in growing a service department
• Proactive and calculated management skills with minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate, lead and manage a diverse team
• Strong computing skills
• Able to manage high revenue accounts and develop new service accounts

Salary package on offer $95k base, company vehicle, credit card, bonus, phone & laptop.   (negotiable).  Relocation assistance and sponsorship will also be considered for the right person.
