This position is all about designing for outcomes. Its about designing and providing a wide range of products and engineered solutions for the broader industrial sector, including mining.  


This local family owned Hunter Valley success story, creates tailor made solutions to a diverse range of clients.  This includes components, and complete turn key plant. The role offers the broad base of challenge only found in a smaller Engineering company.  The scope of the role encompasses the initial client contact and negotiating to concept design, costing and quotation, BOM's, technical support, detailed drawings, liaising with the full team in their own workshop through to installation and commissioning. Along the way you will have managed the people the process and kept a close on the dollars with a commercial eye for detail. You will be integral to the existing successful team and its success as a technical/design expert and can be guaranteed of their support as a new family member.


As the role is new, the initial challenge is to work with the owners to build the IT and other drawing office resources that work best for you in light of your current extensive experience. You don't have to have a degree for this position, however it is a desirable, balanced by solid current design and engineering experience.
