A lucrative opportunity is open for a qualified Mechanical engineer to join the Energy team supporting major design projects across power generation and industrial projects.

Responsibilities include:
 
• Providing design and technical knowledge in power generation and power project development
• Interfacing with key clients and stakeholders and within the team
• Understanding of gas turbine / steam turbine operation
• Taking a leading role managing projects and mentoring less experienced engineers and technical officers
• Hydraulic modelling and analysis

To be eligible for this position you will have:
 
• 8- 10 years experience in the power industry primarily in design focused responsibilities relating to gas/steam turbines.
• Have experience in the NSW power industry
• Mechanical engineering degree and/or qualification - CPEng desirable
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills and the ability to build and form strong working relationships
