My client is a leading global manufacturer and supplier of Rollingstock, an immediate requirement for an experienced Rollingstock Commissioning Technician based in Melbourne.
The project is a retrofit programme for comms systems ie. PI Systems, CCTV systems, these systems are being upgraded a number of rollingstock fleet. Feel free to call to discuss the project further.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform Train Inspection and preparation when vehicles are received at Commissioning site.
- Perform Train Commissioning - Static and Dynamic Tests in accordance with test procedures.
- Troubleshoot and repair train faults as necessary during Commissioning & Warranty Phase.
- Enter accurate fault details in to a database tool to enable reliability reporting.
- Support management of spare parts on site and return of failed equipment to suppliers as required.
- Liaise with Engineering on any arising quality/reliability issues that are identified.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Trades qualified Electrician or Tertiary qualification in Engineering.
- Experience in test and commissioning of Rollingstock is preferred.
- Excellent fault finding skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work autonomously.
- Driver's license is required.
