As a result of a recent contract win, an opportunity has arisen for a Permanent Way Project Engineer to join the construction team on a multi-million dollar project in Melbourne. With the recent announcements in the RRL project my client is starting to ramp up their team ahead of the scheduled work for this year.

With a solid understanding of design, construction and also the ability to plan effectively and manage a budget the Project Engineer will have a high level of responsibility and their performance will have a significant bearing on the overall success of the project. 

This role is a challenging and varied role within a dynamic team environment,

In your role as project engineer you will need good leadership and supervisory skills relevant to civil construction project. You will also have excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and synchronize major activities.

QUALFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Degree in relevant Engineering discipline.
• Experience in earthworks.
• Rail experience is highly desirable
• Strong communications skills and commitment to safety
