This leading utility currently has an excellent opportunity to play a pivotal role in the planning and delivery of major infrastructure projects.

The Project Sponsor will oversee a portfolio of projects across the transmission and distribution networks to ensure that the projects are delivered successfully and that planned outcomes are achieved.

This position provides an “end to end” view of projects, from concept to completion.
Your breath of influence will include:

• Developing project scope in conjunction with the Project Initiator
• Developing project plans and schedules
• Identifying and managing risk including project scope, scheduling, cost and resourcing risks
• Development and review of business cases and overseeing timely approval
• Monitoring project progress and facilitating reviews
• Assessing project variations and project changes
• Ensuring key deliverable are met

This position requires a strong knowledge of the electricity industry and will utilise your expertise in transmission or distribution. You will also have a proven ability to translate strategic objectives into outcomes, and outstanding interpersonal and negotiation skills.
