Our client is a leading Industrial Automation and Process Control Solution provider in the Asia-Pacific region. With over 200 employees, and with offices in various locations throughout Australia and Asia Pacific region, the company has established an excellent reputation in the market as a quality systems integrator in the industrial sector.

They are currently looking to add an experienced Sales / Business Development Professional to their growing team in their Sydney office. Based in NSW and reporting to the Sales Director, you will be responsible for Account Management and New Business Development within various Industrial markets such as Oil & Gas, Mining, Food & Beverage, Chemical & Petrochem and Pharmaceuticals, with focus on Control Systems Integration Solutions.

To be successful you will require following skills and experience:

  • Demonstrable Sales experience in a similar capacity within Industrial Automation and Controls space or a related industry
  • Strong new business development skills as well as an ability to leverage off existing networks
  • Experience within Oil & Gas, Food & Beverage, Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical, Chemical and/or Petrochemical industries will be looked upon favourably
  • Experience in and understanding of industrial automation technology such as MES, DCS, PLC, HMI, SCADA, Electrical Design and installation would be beneficial
  • Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Trade or a related discipline would be looked upon favourably but not mandatory
  • Outstanding communications skills
  • Ability to multitask and high attention to detail
  • Flexibility to travel regularly is a pre-requisite for this role

You will also have strong account management practices, coupled with polished relationship building and management skills. You will be comfortable working in a structured and positive environment and will possess a high level of energy and customer service acumen.
