Our client is a well known Company, whom is looking for an experienced Steel Estimator to be based in a forward-thinking company. This position is an outstanding opportunity for candidates seeking a permanent ongoing position, to work in a highly professional client-focused organisation. You will be joining a successful team in a proactive and positive environment. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for Sales & Estimating within the Structural Steel & Fasteners division.  
  
  

• Calculate pricing and provide accurate estimation of steelwork and major bolt & fabrication packages in a timely manner.  
  
• Follow through on packages won with order administration (i.e. entering orders into system and answering queries from customers) as required.  
  
• Liaise with customers and provide general “customer service” on packages won (i.e. responsible for servicing the customer account through to completion once the package has been won)  
  
• Complete documentation under the Major Projects system requirements as/ when required or if directed.  
  
• Answer technical enquires for both packages that have been won and also some general enquires as required.  
  
• Assist in handling general sales enquires if required and where possible.  
  
• Compile tender documentation (in conjunction with Sales Manager where necessary).  
  
• Responsible for assisting with business development – for example building relationships with existing customers for future/additional business possibilities and investigating new leads.
