Our client, established in 1985, is a leading technologies provider in the industrial automation, telecommunications, environmental and healthcare markets. Headquartered in Singapore, they have more than 1500 qualified and technical staff operating a network of over 30 offices in 20 countries, spanning the Americas, Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East and Africa.
They are currently recruiting a Senior Systems Technician.
Key Objective and Responsibilities:
- To quote to the limits set by the Service Manager
- To accept and release conforming products
- To take appropriate action to address non-conformances
- To with hold non-conforming product
- To supervise subordinate staff as direct
- During periods of absences to perform higher duties as directed
- To inspect subordinates work
- To instruct subordinates in techniques
Specific Duties:
Specific attributes would be:
- Tetra system infrastructure and radios; design, build, commissioning, maintenance, and product support.
- Analogue trunking systems (i.e. Smartnet), installation, maintenance, fault finding.
- Analogue and digital subscriber radios - programming, fault finding, technical advice to customers.
- Repeater systems
- RF system design: two way radios, wireless, microwave system
- Industry experience: mining, oil & gas, construction. Ideally will have worked to the resource sector, having mobilised to remote client sites e.g. mine, rail, port, offshore or refinery.
