This organisation has a reputation as one of the true innovators in their respected fields. They provide specialist Naval and Marine Engineering services within the Defence industry. As they continue to experience exceptional growth they have a vacancy for a Bid Manager, who can contribute to strategy and direction.

The role is a vital component of the Business Development and Strategic function. The primary responsibility of the Bid Manager will be leading and working with a bid/proposal team including a Bids and Proposals coordinator, Business Coordinator and other specialist staff, ensuring that a bid strategy is developed including management of bid/no bid decisions

We require someone who is knowledgeable and experienced with Defence ASDEFCON RFT responses and someone who has motivated and lead a team responsible for completing such responses. It is preferable that they also have a background in, or sound knowledge of, Defence capability development processes and Defence acquisition practices.

Candidates must have or be eligible Security Clearance, have an ability to understand technical and complex systems and products, combined with a track record of working for a company that sells large scale engineering services.
