A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and suitably experienced full-time Senior Records Officer to join our team of highly skilled temps at Drake International.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate their ability to effectively supervise records staff to contribute towards the achievement of organisational targets and to assist with the day to day coordination and maintenance of an efficient and effective records management system.

You will need:

  • Good understanding and experience in records management
  • Supervisory experience of staff
  • Well developed written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated customer focus
  • Good keyboard and data entry skills, with competency in Microsoft work and excel packages
  • ability to use initiative, schedule and prioritise work
  • Knowledge of general office procedures and the operation of office equipment
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently under minimal supervision
  • Highly developed organisational and administrative skills with the ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters appropriately
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and develop positive relationships with team members
  • It would be a benefit if you were familiar with the "Freedom of information Act and the State Record act"
