The Collaroy Centre is a conference and outdoor education centre catering to a variety of functions and groups from school camps to church retreats, to business training. Currently, a casual position exists for a dedicated individual keen to join the catering team to deliver a quality service to our clients In this role the successful applicant will provide professional, efficient and timely service to clients of The Collaroy Centre. Key accountabilities include:
- Adhere to all cleaning, food preparation, presentation and food service procedures and standards to ensure smooth running of front of house and dining room areas of The Collaroy Centre
- Follow food safety culture including the monitoring of food safety systems, HACCP and OH&S policies
To be considered for this role, you must possess: - A commitment to the Christian faith and mission of The Salvation Army
- Prior Experience in food handling and service within a hotel, restaurant, catering company or functions centre
- Good attention to detail and sound time management skills
- Team player with energy, flexibility and integrity
- Flexibility to work shift work including weekends and some split shifts
