Clements Health is an Australian owned national provider of Healthcare Professionals. We are presently recruiting on behalf of one of our key clients, who own reputable Aged Care facilities across Australia, and who are currently seeking an OH & S Advisor for their facilities based in Northern NSW. The role will be based in Sydney's CBD.
The Organisation is the largest privately owned Aged Care provider in Australia. They have a comittment to their staff and the professional development of the staff to ensure the highest quality of care to their residents.
The role
You will be assisting in the development, implementation, promotion, monitoring and review of the company's OH & S management system to ensure a safe and healthy environment within the workplace.
The role will largely be an advisory and support for the key personnel within the facilities and within the HR function. The ability to get staff to 'buy in' to key initiatives and new policies is paramont to the sucess of this role ad hence exceptional communication, both verbal and written, is an essential requirement of the role.
Essential Criteria
- Undergraduate / Post graduate degree in risk management, OH & S or a relevant discipline.
- Minimum three years experience in a OH & S management role.
- Proven ability of developing and implementing OH & S policies.
- Ability to interpret legislation and resolve issues in the workplce in a timely manner.
- Proficient in Risk management
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent report writing and all round communication skills
Desirable Criteria
- Certificate VI in Assesment and workplace training
- RABQSA OHS auditor accreditation
- Experience across multi sites
- Experience within the Aged Care industry
- Consultancy experience
The role is suited to someone who has the ability to work autonomously is highly organised and shows high levels of initiative.
