My Client is one of many independent, not for profit industry skills coucils established by the Australian government and due to recent movement they are seeking a Training Package Development Officer to work for their organisation on a permanent basis. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in the review, development and writing of nationally endorsed units of competency.
- Coordinate authored Training package production process.
- Complete general administration tasks to support Training Package Specialists.
- Assist in the facilitation of stakeholder and information sessions.
- Undertake specific project tasks in support of the Training package review process.
- Other related duties as directed by the General manager - skills and engagement.
Skills and experience required:
- Working knowledge of the Vocational Education and Training (VET) system.
- Excellent communication skills including high level report writing and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated project coordination skills.
- Proven proficiency in the use of MS Office products including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
- Highly motivated individual who demonstrates an ability to utilise a high level of initiative.
