Our client is a leader in their chosen field, having grown significantly in recent times through both acquisition and impressive organic growth, including the offering of new service and product lines. The business is supported by an established leadership team and well resourced IT function, utilising best of breed technology and methodology.

Due to a recent acquisition, they are currently seeking a Java/EE Developer who will report to the Head of Engineering and be involved in the development and migration of an e-commerce system that is being implemented into the business.

Key technical skills required include:

• 5+ years Java/EE Development experience
• Spring and Hibernate
• Oracle/SQL skills
• PHP
• Maven
• JBoss Application Server
• The ability to run projects independently from end to end
• Testing experience

Experience across e-commerce and/or payments systems development would be highly regarded.

This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a brand new product line for the business and there is an opportunity for either contract to permanent or permanent for the right candidate.
