The Person :

  • Very customer focussed.
  • Friendly team player.
  • Good technical ability.
  • Could have customer service background in retail or hospitality

Responsibilities :

  • Ensure email and phone communications are handled in a timely, accurate, professional manner.
  • Monitor services and take action in the event of service failure.
  • Correctly categorise, prioritise,assign, and escalate requests within the helpdesk.
  • Document all help desk events.

Experience in any of the following would be an advantage:

  • Customer Service in call centre or retail.
  • The ability to touch type.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Linux webhosting and Windows systems administration.
  • Website design and development skills (PHP/ASP programming, SQL, FTP).
  • MySQL and MSSQL database management experience.
  • Using cPanel(WHM) and/or Plesk management suites.
  • Familiarity with configuring POP and IMAP accounts in Windows and Mac platforms.
