My client, a well renowned organisation in the High Education sector, has an opening for an experienced Application Services Manager. Reporting to the Director Application Services, the successful incumbent is accountable for owning the end to end service life cycle of application services from service inception to service retirement. In this role, you will play a key part in establishing and maintaining a trusted relationship between the IT division and all key stakeholders based on a deep understanding of their current organisational services and how this translates into the effective delivery of IT application services.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
Extensive experience in client management, service strategy, product/service design and development, complex negotiation, and service management, including service monitoring and reporting..
Extensive experience of implementing enterprise scale Application Services and Business Intelligence solutions into large and complex organizations.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience of Program Management methodologies, system integration and software development life cycle methodologies.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience of Service Operations within an ITIL based process framework.
Track record of embracing partnerships successfully in a complex service delivery environment
Well developed strategic and leadership skills.
Ability to clearly articulate complex technical issues to business stakeholders

It is advanatgeous if you also have:
A qualification in ITIL
A qualification and/or experience in project management, and
Experience working in the Higher Education sector.
