The successful candidate will be able to perform remote engineering assistance, problem escalation, proactive monitoring of reports, network health checks and reports and network support service. Responsibilities of an Operations Resident Engineer - Attending the weekly Technical Case Management meetings with the end client teams and expediting case resolution
- Developing and delivering appropriate training materials for client operational teams
- Feedback and assist in process improvement activities with the Global Client Service Desk
- Assist with re-creation of issues in the Global Labs
- Splitting of time between client operational teams
- 'Sit across' client Operations projects and provide awareness to Global Client of upcoming projects such that the Client can better support end client
- Drive Juniper in expediting the closure of long term problem cases
- Assisting with process improvement across various teams
- Provide knowledge transfer on issue resolution and product updates
Qualifications/Experience Required - 3+ years experience in Service Provider production support environment
- Extensive hands-on experience with Juniper Enterprise and Service Provider product sets
- JNCIS, JNCIP or JNCIE preferred in one of the above fields
- Extensive hands-on experience with JUNOS and JUNOSe
- Excellent communication ability across various levels of management and an ability to take ownership of issues and drive outcomes for the client
- Ability to work as and individual and as part of a team
- Ability to proactively lead new initiatives to enhance the client experience
