We are currently seeking an experienced IT Service Planner to work for a large Government department.

Reporting to the Service Planning Manager, you will be working in a team responsible for the Service Development Function.

You will be focusing on one of the service planning functions including; service continuity planning, availability management planning and capacity management planning. This will be to ensure it’s alignment to the other planning functions.

Your main responsibility will be ensuring that plans and reports are delivered on time and that KPI’s are met.

To be successful in this role, you will occupy the following skills:

• Experience developing frameworks, roadmaps and associated activities to mature an organisations ITIL capability
• A solid understanding of information technology and ITIL methodology particularly capacity, availability and continuity
• Strong analysis and communication skills both written and verbal
• Strong problem solving skills
• Experience dealing with senior stakeholders
• ITIL V3 Foundation Certified
• ITIL V3 Service Design Certified would be an advantage
• Government experience would be highly regarded
