Our customer, a leading consulting firm based in Brisbane's CBD is seeking an experienced Project Manager with 4 - 6 years of experience to work on a number of key projects within the mining sector. 

This 12 month contract role will be reporting to the Program Manager who is based onsite with the customer.  You will be required to manage a number of smaller system based projects, develop and maintain project schedules, identify risks and resource requirements, produce project documentation and be involved in budget control.

To be considered for this role you will need the following skills and experience:

• 4 -6 years project management experience.
• A background working on projects within the resources (mining or gas) sector will be highly regarded.
• Ability to engage well with key customer stakeholders and internal project team members.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong multi-tasking experience - ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Be self motivated, proactive, organised and have good attention to detail.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet assigned deadlines.
• Some remote onsite travel may be required.
• Sound knowledge or leading project methodologies.  PM certification will be highly regarded.
