A fantastic opportunity has become available for experienced Senior Systems Engineers within a large Private Organisation for a Permanent role.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Participate in the conduct of assigned tasks in projects, bids and R&D programs
• Work with other various staff to develop cost estimates and deliverables;
• Effectively plan and lead engineering activities to ensure completion of activities in a timely manner;
• Work within product teams to ensure the successful development and implementation of engineering programs;
• provide recommendations and advice on technology selection and R&D activities;
• Attend and participate in regular project meetings; and
• Attend technical reviews.

Skills:

• Engineering experience in the design and implementation of communications systems;
• Experience with the design, specification and troubleshooting of software based electronic systems;
• Experience with writing and reviewing technical documentation;
• Experience with data/voice communications;
• Management of technical teams to achieve objectives; and
• Use of requirements management tools such as DOORS.

In order to be eligible for this position, candidates must have an active security clearance, or be eligible to obtain one; therefore candidates will need to be Australian Citizens.
