Our Client requires an experienced Technical Team Leader who is IT savvy - able to manage and use current Linux, UNIX System Administration, Oracle and C/C++ debugging skills to lead and to support the other members of the team as they undertake mainly systems administration and maintenance to join their Brisbane city fringe team.

 

As the Technical Team Leader you may be required to assist in general IT tasks, such as tool evaluation, organisational tasks etc.

The technical requirements of this position include the following;

• Unix System Administration
• Oracle DBA
• Application Support
 
To be considered for this role it is essential that you possess the following:

• Team Leadership Skills
• Unix systems administration
• Unix systems scripting (Unix tools, shell or Perl
• Oracle / SQL
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Application support
 
Previous experience in Leading and/or Undertaking the following activities would be highly desirable:
 
• Unix application development
• Linux RedHat Enterprise
• Systems programming in C
• C++ or Java (J2SE)
• Java JEE/ JBoss
• JavaScipt
• Windows 2008 / Windows 7 (IISS, SQL Server, System Administration)
 
This role will initially be offered on a 3 month contract with possible extensions.
