Our client is an industry leader in providing services to a range of industries in Australia. With the growth in size and complexity of resource projects, our client has the skills, experience and resources to ensure they are always staying ahead of their competitors in providing comprehensive services.


They urgently require the services of a Quality Manager with experience in Quality Management to work in their Perth based offices on a major expansion project.


Position Accountabilities (but not limited to):

• Maintaining and implementing a QA audit schedule to ensure all site activities follow project and company procedures and methodologies.
• Ensure continuous improvement factors from lessons learned on the project are captured and addressed in the project management systems.
• Liaising with project related personnel to obtain required information.
• Maintain a register of Quality progress data and create project reports
• Manage corrective actions resolution and implement changes arising from audits.
• Ensure audits (external) of Contractors are carried out as appropriate to ensure compliance with Contract requirements.
• Coordinate ongoing audits accordingly to company's procedures and practices

The successful candidate MUST have: 

• 7 + years experience within a Senior Quality role with broad experience across multi discipline engineering within the resources sector and ideally Mining industry - (structural, mechanical, piping, etc)
• Mature understanding of construction processes and a clear understanding of what is and isn't important
• Formal training in quality assurance, business improvement, continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience in managing a team
• An Australian Citizenship or an Australian Permanent Residency. Applicants without valid working rights in Australia need NOT apply.
