As one of the world leaders in exploration, mining and processing of the earths minerals our client is about to undertake one of the largest mining projects in Australia. What they are currently searching for is a Principle of Life Mining Engineer  to manage and lead the teams responsible for long term planning for all the operating mine site in the Pilbara region of WA. You will be able to provide statistical reports and updates reporting into the Manager of Studies and Technology and you will be able to provide on going training and support to the current operational mine sites. Other duties will include but is not limited to :


Ensuring all teams have a high quality output in meeting business needs
Continuous improvement of all processing and systems for long term planning
The ability to mentor and coach teams within the business of mine sites
Ensuring target requirements are met

Tertiary qualification of Mining Engineering
Previous Mine Planning experience
7 years minimum of O/P mining experience
Previous experience in training and mentoring
