A Darwin based client is looking for a professional Horticulturist who takes pride in their work, with a minimum qualification of Horticulture Certificate IV (four)

Experience is essential as you will be representing a local Darwin client. Duties will edging, hedging, soft planting and pruning of trees. The work may be physically active and may involve lifting, bending, and handling a variety of equipment. Most work is outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. You will have protective clothing when you have to handle fertilisers and pesticides, or to prevent injury while using machinery. You must be physically fit with no history of injury. Start ASAP Monday to Friday. No weekend work.

To be successful for the position you must have the following:

• A current driver s licence
• Horticulture Certificate IV
• 2 X contactable References
• Knowledge of machinery maintenance is preferable
• Follow company rules and directions
• Safety boots and Hi-VIS
• Chainsaw ticket essential

In return you will be offered a great pay rate of $25.00 per hour. The vacant position is casual with fulltime hours of 37.5 per week. You will need steel cap boots and HIVIS, all other PPE will be supplied for you.
