As Australia's leading lubricant manufacturer, our client is continuing to experience rapid growth. Current products include engine oils, transmission oils, gear oils, cutting fluids, grease and agricultural spray oils which are distributed nationally and around the globe. An immediate vacancy exists for a Casual Laboratory Technician / Chemist to join the team at the Brisbane head office.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Testing and analysis of Raw Materials and finished oils/greases
- Provision of technical advice and recommendations to the production team
- Assisting in the improvement of plant operating efficiency
- Assistance with equipment calibrations and maintenance
To be considered for this role, a qualification in a Science related discipline is highly desirable and the ability to work shifts (day and afternoon, some weekends) is necessary.
