WorkPac are working with a global engineering firm who consult to a range of clients in the mining, oil and gas, water and industrial sectors. With major projects underway and a sharp rise in the activity in these markets we are seeking the services of a Senior Mechanical/Piping Engineer preferably with expertise in the oil and gas sector to join an already sizeable and well established team.
Responsibilities
Assist the design team with feasibility studies, conceptual design, detail design and commissioning depending on the project requirements
Contribute your mechanical/piping expertise to multidisciplinary project teams, delivering work within quality, safety, time and budget constraints
Think laterally within an innovative group to apply new ideas and incorporate the latest technology when appropriate
Prepare and check design calculations
Provide technical guidance to engineers and designers
